(In brief: a group who call themselves Sad Puppies/ Rabid Puppies have been trying to game a Speculative Fiction award known as the Hugo, by encouraging supporters who may not even read Spec Fic to vote for books/ authors the Puppies nominated. One of their nominees was Chuck Tingle's Space Raptor Butt Invasion, which was ironic... for reasons you'll have to read this story to get.)So if you have been following it, this is hilarious. It's a happy spoof of the whole thing. And yes, Tuck Chingle (the fictional Chuck Tingle's fictional editor) does in the end get his wish. In the end, of course.

Look closely. This is a parody of Chuck Tingle, supposedly "in the style." The author claims to be Tuck Chingle. Don't be fouled!
The societal commentary found within this piece was delightful. It showed quite a lot of awareness from the author itself. While it was not his best piece in many ways, it was, by far, one of his most emotional pieces. It touched me. Deeply.
